Why VALERIAN NOIR Exists

We didn’t launch VALERIAN NOIR just to add another bottle to your shelf. We started with a question that frustrated us:

Why does a premium, long-lasting fragrance always have to drain your wallet?

Before becoming VALERIAN NOIR, we went through different names, countless iterations, and a massive learning curve. What started as a passion project turned into a clear mission: to build a homegrown fragrance house from India that sets its own standards.

We wanted to create fragrances with presence, in a sleek 50ml bottle, while keeping them within reach of people who genuinely love wearing perfume.

We obsessed over what makes a fragrance stick — its balance, its longevity, and how it evolves on your skin from morning meetings to late nights. We quickly realized that creating a great brand isn’t just about finding a nice smell. It’s about making hundreds of small choices, discarding what doesn’t work, and refusing to settle until it feels right.

We don’t do one-size-fits-all.

Our collection is built around different personalities. Clean aquatics sit next to deep woods, rich oud, warm amber, spices, and bold gourmands. Some are made to be effortless daily fragrances. Others are for the moments when you want to walk in and own the room.

Because that is our ultimate promise:
